AlphaCode Incubate applications for second cohort have opened!
AlphaCode Incubate has opened its applications for the 2nd official cohort. There are 8 places up for disruptive financial services businesses that will have the kind of impact OUTsurance and Discovery have had on the industry.
Key information on the programme:
Criteria
- Must be at least 51% black owned
- Operating in the fintech or financial services space (e.g. wealthtech, insurtech, data-analytics in financial services, savings, payments or cryptocurrency)
- Business age 0-2 years old (i.e. early stage business either being a validated concept or a recently launched)
Opportunity
- 12 months of mentorship (tech, business and commercial mentors assigned to businesses)
- Dedicated office space at AlphaCode
- R1m grant funding
- Access to relationships and possible connections within the RMI and broader group companies
Key dates:
- 14 May – Applications opened at www.alphacode.club/incubate
- 18 Jun – Applications close
- 24 Jun – Initial shortlist is announced
- 1-2 Jul – Bootcamp for shortlisted businesses
- Mid Jul – Top 16 announced
- 1 Aug – Final pitch evening for top 16
