THUD Tshwane: #1976reimagined: youth-led enterprising economic growth
June 27, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
FreeAs we upgrade ourselves from the politics of 1976 to the economics of 2019 during youth month in South Africa, #1976reimagined becomes extremely relevant as we continue to fight in the trenches against unemployment, inequality and poverty. These 3 major evils facing our country are coupled by personal challenges we all face: doubt, discouragement and past failure. Young people are going through a lot in this economic depression.THUD constantly fights to be part of the solution in enabling trade for entrepreneurs with public & private sector procurement as key market access enablers.
This month THUD celebrates some of the City of Tshwane’s finest talent in the entrepreneurship arena, namely, Mogau Seshoene, Founder of The Lazy Makoti and Mokgadi Mabela, Founder and CEO of Native Nosi. They also engage Nontuthuko Shandu, CEO of Dandozest Restaurant situated at Freedom Park Heritage Site & Museum and Joe Human from Creative Mind Space. Lethabo Mokoena, Founder and CEO of Walk Fresh will moderate the session.
